Planning: Title and Font

 Title and Font

Hello! After figuring out what our film will be about, it's now time to come up with the perfect title name.

We know that the killer in this film includes a timer ticking down when killing his victims, so we were thinking something with the words 'timer', 'ticking', or 'time'. Maybe something like 'The Timer' or put 'The Ticking Killer'. However, we didn't really like it because it wouldn't really put the viewer on edge; it wasn't ominous enough. That's when we thought of the name "Times Up". It gives the viewer an idea of what the film will include while also making it mysterious; it makes them question "What will happen when time is out?"

The next step is to figure out a font. The different fonts that I discussed in one of my previous blog posts are Shlop, Grave Danger, Weiss,  ITC Serif Gothic, and Trajan. Since, in our film, it involves a countdown, which you kind of think makes you think of a clock, we were thinking a more cleaner look, like ITC Sefif Gothic, Trajan, and Weiss.

Between those three, we liked Weiss the best, mainly because of its sharp edges, which bring out a horror-like vibe and clock-like look. So, we tested out our title with this font and loved the product. This is what it would look like:
